Frequently Asked Questions
I've never done a retreat before — is that okay?
More than okay. Most women arrive having never done anything like this. There's nothing to prepare or prove — you simply arrive, and you're gently guided from there.
Will I have privacy? What about roommates?
Lodging arrangements are part of what we tailor to each retreat and each guest. Share any comfort or privacy needs when we connect, and we'll work with you to make sure you feel at ease.
Will I be forced to share or relive my story?
Never. Sharing is always invited and never demanded. Much of the work is body-centered and creative, and you set your own pace throughout.
Can you accommodate dietary needs?
Yes — let us know your needs and preferences ahead of time and meals will be prepared with you in mind.
What should I pack for the weather?
Mountain weather shifts, so think layers, a warm option for evenings by the fire, and sturdy shoes for the land. A full packing note comes with your reservation.
Is this therapy?
No. This is experiential, faith-rooted, restorative work. It complements — and never replaces — care from your own therapist, counselor, or doctor, and we encourage you to stay connected to your providers.
Do I need a faith background?
Not at all. Sarah leads from a faith-rooted heart, and worship is offered for those who wish it — but you are welcome exactly as you are, wherever you are on your own path.
What if my plans change?
Life happens. If something shifts, reach out and we'll work with you as best we can. We'd always rather talk it through than have you carry it alone.
